School Age Summer Camp (ages 6 through 13)

Camp provides an relaxed setting for summer learning and working as part of a team, interacting with mentors, and discovering through hands on activities.

A signature of our Summer Camp program each year is The Village Summer Camp Olympics.  This camp week brings with it so much excitement and the campers have an opportunity to participate in competitions involving Camp Spirit and a variety of events from tug-o-war, pool relays, and obstacle courses, to watermelon and pie eating contests.  As part of our program we also offer daily swimming, summer camp arts & crafts, camp science for kids, indoor and outdoor sports/games, camp cooking, on campus and traditional summer camp field trips.  To enhance the fun, we also invite our campers to enjoy at least two summer camp sleepovers each season.

Mad Science, Party In The USA!, Star Wars, Camp Olympics 2018, Saving The Day With Superheroes, Village Academy’s Got Talent, and our Farewell Carnival.

We screen and select our summer camp counselors with careful consideration. All camp staff have cleared an FBI Level 2 Background screening, and are certified in First Aid and CPR. Many of our counselors are either attending college or are college graduates who have experience working with children in a variety of settings. Camp staff will additionally attend pre-camp training focusing on safety and security, as well as all aspects of our camp programs.
We are proud of the exciting opportunity we offer our campers each summer by hiring a team of multi-cultural staff. Through a cultural exchange program called Camp America, we hire our English speaking foreign counselors predominantly from the United Kingdom (UK). Camp America has been providing international staff to summer camps across the USA, since 1969. The relationships our campers build with our multi-cultural staff is both enriching and exciting for our campers and their families.

American Red Cross swimming lessons are offered every day all summer on our campus.  You can sign your child up for swimming lessons and following their lesson they can return to their camp activities without the need for you to drive them somewhere additional. Our Waterfront Director is certified as a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) with American Red Cross, and our waterfront staff are all lifeguard certified.
We encourage families to register your camper for a full 5 days of camp each week so that they may have the opportunity to enjoy the full impact camp has to offer. Of course we do understand that your child may not be able to attend every day of camp. You have the option to register your camper for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days of camp each week. Camp is available to your child for the entire summer break, and a two-week minimum participation is all that we require. Lunch, snacks, and all regular field trips are included in your camp fees.  Additionally, children will receive an Olympic shirt as part of registration.

When you sign up, please fill out the summer camp registration forms, and check the appropriate box to select the camp experience and schedule that best suits your family’s needs.

You may print forms from our website to register for camp, or pick them up at either of our campuses:
